A bit of hunger games drama but with magic. I was fascinated by this book. The ending was very unexpected and thought provoking. I definitely recommend this one!"

A fun, or not-so-fun fact about summer around here? Our house doesn't have central air. And in Missouri, where you can see extremes of over 100 degrees fluctuation between winter and summer, believe me when I say I miss air conditioning! Our Airbnb properties have it, but we do not. We do have window units, but when the temps soar, the best we can hope for is low to mid-80s inside of the larger areas of our home. We are busy renovating a property next door to us and hope to be done by late fall. Once we are, we will be putting installing a/c (and more needed home repairs) at the top of our list!
