First Chapters

Have you ever read a description, thought it sounded good and bought the book - only to hate it within seconds of beginning? I'd rather you read a chapter of one of my books and think, "Nah, this isn't for me" rather than get through half the book, give up, and post a review that you DNF'd (did not finish) it.

I figure it this way. If you get a taste for my writing, you will either like it or not, and then decide to buy. I'd far prefer that to an angry reader. One chapter at least gives you a taste for my writing and while it can't tell you whether you will like the twists and turns ahead, it still gives you a feel for it. I see it as a win-win!
